About The Position

Austin Country Club in Austin, TX is looking to hire a full-time Housekeeper to join the night shift hospitality team at our country club. This position is responsible for ensuring that the club is kept clean and tidy for the enjoyment of guests and the safety of staff. Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, window washing, furniture polishing, and floor cleaning and polishing. The role also involves maintaining the cleanliness of offices, public spaces, the Clubhouse, Gym, Tennis facilities, Learning Center, and restroom facilities, as well as emptying trash and managing pool towels. The Housekeeper contributes to the business by delivering excellent customer service through a consistently clean and inviting environment and maintaining cleaning equipment in good condition.

Requirements

Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time
3 months of related work experience or training
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Regular and reliable attendance
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks while demonstrating good time management
Ability to present oneself in a clean and professional manner
Commitment to working the night shift

Responsibilities

Sweeping and mopping floors
Vacuuming and dusting
Performing light and heavy cleaning tasks such as window washing, furniture polishing, and floor cleaning and polishing
Maintaining the cleanliness of offices, public spaces, the Clubhouse, Gym, Tennis facilities, Learning Center, and restroom facilities
Emptying trash cans and ashtrays
Rounding up, washing, and folding pool towels
Maintaining cleaning equipment in good condition
