About The Position

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital is seeking Housekeepers to join their team. As a Housekeeper, you will provide a reassuring presence while cleaning patient rooms throughout the hospital. This is a full-time role, 40 hours a week, with shifts from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM. The position involves rotating holidays and weekends, requires direct patient interaction, and involves a lot of walking. Environmental Services provides housekeeping, linen, floor care, and waste management services for the entire MBSH campus. Our environmental services staff are vital to maintaining an infection-free and positive facility image.

Requirements

• No Experience
• No Supervisor Experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• <2 years experience
• < 2 years supervisor experience

Responsibilities

• Performs routine janitorial and cleaning activities in patient, public and common areas using prescribed, established cleaning process.
• Performs discharge cleaning process in inpatient rooms and prepares room for next admission.
• Performs room set up and changes as needed, including changing linens, cleaning, mopping and furnishing.
• Keeps equipment clean and functional according to procedure.
• Notifies supervisor or manager of any equipment, furniture, or building fixtures that are in need of maintenance.
