About The Position

The Housekeeper maintains cleanliness throughout the facility, including resident and patient rooms, public and resident restrooms, and shower and bathing areas. The role follows facility policies and procedures and infection control guidelines. This is a full-time, day-shift position listed as 1.0 FTE, or 80 hours every two weeks.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Complete resident discharges and prepare rooms for the next admission.
Ensure areas are stocked with supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
Operate and care for housekeeping equipment, including vacuums, housekeeping carts, and carpet cleaning machines.
Maintain cleanliness in resident and patient rooms, public and resident restrooms, and shower and bathing areas in accordance with policies, procedures, and infection control guidelines.
