The Four Points by Sheraton - Kelowna Airport is currently looking to fill the role of Housekeeper. We are on a bus route, with a stop just outside of the hotel, and also pickup our employees close to the bus loop at UBCO! This is a dynamic, hybrid position that includes responsibilities across multiple areas, including Room Attendant, Housekeeping Runner, Laundry Attendant, and Public Area Attendant. Daily duties will vary based on operational needs and scheduling. What you will be doing? This position involves working at the Four Points by Sheraton and at Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Kelowna Airport. You will be responsible for following the duties and responsibilities below to the highest standards: Guest Rooms & Cleaning Clean and service guest rooms to brand standards within required timeframe (approximately 14+ rooms per day, depending on occupancy) Strip and replace linens, make beds and sofa beds Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned, using appropriate chemicals and PPE Maintain high standards of cleanliness, detail, speed, and accuracy Laundry Sort, wash and fold linens, including stain treatment Stock linen rooms, storage areas, and housekeeping carts Maintain organization of carts and linen rooms Transport linen from one property to the other through an exterior corridor? Public Area Clean and maintain public spaces, including washrooms, hallways, fitness centre, pool, lobby, parking lot, hotel entrances, and elevators Ensure all areas are clean, stocked, and guest-ready Guest Service Welcome and acknowledge guests in a friendly and professional manner, using 5-10-15 rule Anticipate guest needs and provide assistance Promote hotel facilities and direct guests as needed Safety, Standards & Communication Follow all the brand standards, training requirements, and company policies Report maintenance issues, damages, and safety concerns promptly Adhere to health & safety, security, and lost & found procedures Maintain cleaning equipment and report any deficiencies Communicate effectively with team members and other departments Completion of required brand training on-line or in classroom setting Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned by the management team
