About The Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for the cleanliness and neatness of assigned apartments, common areas, and the health center as applicable. This role is part of the team at Freedom Village Bradenton, a senior living community focused on providing resident-centered care and high-quality hospitality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Three to six months experience in housekeeping or janitorial position required
• Proficiency in the English language enabling the employee to read, write, comprehend and communicate simple instructions, correspondence, memos, etc.

Responsibilities

• Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments, such as: vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting of all cleared flat surfaces.
• Performs general housekeeping duties of hallways and common areas as directed by supervisor.
• Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
