About The Position

This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining various areas within Reynolds Lake Oconee, including cottages, comfort stations, restaurants, clubhouses, and administrative buildings. The role also involves completing assigned deep cleaning projects, managing linen and terry services, delivering guest requests, and assisting with laundry operations. The Housekeeper will also be responsible for stocking supplies, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a clean and pleasant environment. Communication with supervisors and interaction with guests and members are key aspects of the role.

Requirements

  • Some work experience desired, but will train.
  • Ability to bend, stretch and lift up to 30lbs on a regular basis.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time up to 90% of the day.
  • Able to withstand varying weather conditions.
  • Congenial personality; able to interact well with others.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Ability to climb and descend stairs on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and maintaining Cottages, Comfort Stations, Restaurants, Clubhouses, Security Gates, Sales Center, Administration Building, Rock House, Jackson House, Central Services, Pro Shops, Maintenance Buildings, Marinas, Tennis Centers, Pavilions, Pool areas, Cart Facilities, Corporate Building, Plantation Commons, and other areas of Reynolds Lake Oconee.
  • Completion of assigned deep cleaning projects and other areas as needed.
  • Completion of cleaning per established standards of Reynolds Lake Oconee.
  • Extract Dirty linen and terry from cottages.
  • Place clean linen and terry into cottages.
  • Deliver guest requests and assorted items to cottages.
  • Transport Housekeepers between cottage locations and Central Services.
  • Stock supplies and maintain warehouse.
  • Laundry operations including washing, drying, folding, and sorting room and table linen.
  • Maintain the laundry equipment as needed.
  • Maintain van cleanliness.
  • Maintain a clean, pleasant, and neat image.
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding work issues or concerns.
  • Interact and assist guests and members as needed, such as plunging toilets and operating television remotes.
  • Perform job responsibilities and operate equipment according to the company safety and training programs.
  • Report safety or hazard concerns to management.
  • Report any on the job injury to management.
  • Take personal responsibility for safety every day.
