About The Position

Join our team at Hilton Garden Inn OSU! We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals who take pride in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. If you enjoy working as part of a team and delivering exceptional hospitality, we'd love to meet you! As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in providing our guests with a clean, safe, and comfortable stay. You will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms, maintaining public areas and laundry facilities, and ensuring all work meets Hilton and hotel brand standards.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
  • Motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Experience operating commercial washers and dryers is preferred but not required.
  • Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and reaching overhead.
  • Lifting up to 40 pounds.
  • Standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Working in varying temperatures.
  • Safely using cleaning chemicals, vacuum cleaners, mops, and other housekeeping equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and follow all hotel operating procedures and housekeeping standards.
  • Maintain knowledge of room types and required guest room supplies.
  • Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness and report any maintenance issues or damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, replenish amenities and supplies, and prepare rooms for guest arrival according to hotel standards.
  • Dust and clean all guest room furnishings, including televisions, desks, chairs, lamps, air conditioning units, headboards, nightstands, artwork, wall fixtures, and window ledges.
  • Maintain housekeeping carts and cleaning supplies in a safe, organized, and professional manner.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests.
  • Address guest concerns courteously and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure daily goals are achieved.
  • Maintain organization and efficiency while preparing guest rooms within established time standards.
  • Ensure all "No Service" rooms are approved by an inspector or the Front Desk.
  • Wear the required uniform and name badge at all times.
  • Follow all hotel safety policies, emergency procedures, and operational guidelines.
  • Respect guest privacy and exercise discretion while working in occupied areas.
  • Perform laundry duties and clean public areas as assigned.
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and professionalism.
  • Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Participate in deep cleaning projects as assigned.
  • Support and uphold the company's Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
