About The Position
McClure Post Acute is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team on an on-call basis. If you take pride in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff, we'd love to hear from you. As a valued member of our environmental services team, you'll play an important role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our facility while supporting exceptional resident care.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to respond to on-call scheduling needs.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be able to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare, skilled nursing, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and empty trash receptacles.
- Replenish housekeeping and restroom supplies as needed.
- Follow infection control procedures and safety guidelines.
- Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly.
- Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and properly.
- Work collaboratively with nursing and other departments to ensure a clean and comfortable environment.
