About The Position

Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Housekeeper in a long-term care facility, helping maintain a clean and safe environment and enhance residents’ and customers’ experiences. The role includes cleaning and sanitizing facility spaces, following safety and infection-control procedures, keeping records, and reporting maintenance or safety issues. The Housekeeper interacts with residents, staff, and guests while providing customer service and completing other assigned duties. Residency within the service area is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices as part of daily housekeeping tasks.
• Clean and sanitize areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection-control and universal-precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
