About The Position

Family Health Care is looking for a reliable team member for its cleaning crew in its Cadillac location. This position will ensure that our facilities are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion.

Requirements

• Knowledge of housekeeping functions and standards, including safety, using a step ladder and sanitation.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of common safety hazards to identify potential safety problems.
• Ability to operate housekeeping equipment and machines.
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively as a productive member of a team.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning, vacuuming/mopping, dusting and/or disinfecting of the health center.
• Maintaining towel, paper, hand sanitizer and soap dispensers daily.
• Daily emptying of wastebaskets and transporting outdoors to dumpster.
• Maintaining an inventory of housekeeping supplies and ordering supplies when necessary.
• Reporting stained ceiling tiles, light bulbs that are out, and other items throughout the organization that need to be addressed.
• Performing other light duties deemed necessary and assigned by the supervisor.
• Going above and beyond at times, while being a team player.
• Modeling a positive attitude and respect towards patients, co-workers, and visitors as outlined in Family Health Care’s Customer Service Standards.
