About The Position
It is the responsibility of the housekeeper to properly clean and disinfect all assigned areas including but not limited to resident rooms, apartments/houses, dining rooms, corridors, day rooms, shower / bathrooms, all nurses station and common areas. Standard procedures are to be followed to maintain infection control and sustain hygienic surroundings in a manner that is consistent with policies and regulations.
Requirements
- Ability to follow standard procedures for cleaning and disinfection.
- Understanding of infection control principles.
- Knowledge of relevant policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Properly clean and disinfect all assigned areas including resident rooms, apartments/houses, dining rooms, corridors, day rooms, shower/bathrooms, nurses stations, and common areas.
- Follow standard procedures to maintain infection control.
- Sustain hygienic surroundings in a manner consistent with policies and regulations.
