About The Position

The Housekeeper cleans guest rooms according to company guidelines and procedures and demonstrates a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates. The role also supports overall hotel cleanliness, maintains housekeeping carts and related work areas, responds to guest requests when reasonable and practical, and follows safety and security procedures. No prior experience or training is necessary.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate and promote a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests and associates.
Clean assigned guest rooms according to company standards, policies, and procedures.
Maintain housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards while in use.
Stock carts and cart rooms when necessary or directed by management.
Report maintenance issues to the front desk and/or manager on duty.
Report guest property remaining in a checked-out room to the front desk and manager on duty.
Assist with reasonable guest requests whenever possible and practical.
Comply with all safety and security policies and procedures.
Complete all required and annual Extended Stay University training.
Clean other hotel areas as assigned, including associate breakrooms, guest laundry, fitness rooms, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
Maintain overall hotel cleanliness.
Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
