About The Position

A Housekeeper who excels in this role cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces. They follow policies and procedures on patient isolation, stock paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated, and maintain carts and equipment in clean, working condition and stores them in the appropriate storage area when finished with their shift.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
