About The Position

Beztak Senior Living is seeking to hire a Housekeeper to join their team. This position is responsible for cleanliness in all aspects of the community, including resident units and common areas. The role involves providing a beautiful, clean, and sanitary environment, assisting with resident satisfaction tasks, ensuring proper use and care of equipment, identifying and reporting safety hazards, and reporting supply and equipment needs to the supervisor. The role also requires working in a high-pressure environment, interacting with residents and vendors, handling urgent matters, resolving conflicts, and exhibiting effective interpersonal skills. Additionally, the position may require operating a company or personal vehicle for job duties.

Requirements

  • One-year experience in the professional cleaning industry
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Have a caring and positive demeanor when interacting with residents and family members
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to identify issues before they occur

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing a beautiful, clean, and sanitary environment for all areas of the community
  • Assists with tasks to provide high levels of resident satisfaction; such as laundry or other tasks which may be assigned
  • Ensures proper use and care of all equipment to maintain cleanliness and a well-maintained community
  • Must be able to identify and then either correct or report safety hazards
  • Reports supply and equipment needs to supervisor before replenishing
  • Work in a high-pressure environment, interacting with challenging residents and vendors, handling urgent matters, resolving conflicts, exhibiting effective interpersonal skills
  • Operating a company vehicle or personal vehicle (as required) to perform job duties. Candidates must be willing and able to drive for work-related purposes as needed.
