About The Position

A private household in Rancho Santa Fe is seeking an experienced, dependable, and professional Live-in Housekeeper to support the daily upkeep and organization of a large estate property consisting of a five-bedroom residence and guest house. This is a full-time, long-term position for someone who takes pride in maintaining a beautiful home and enjoys working independently while collaborating with an established household team. The property already employs a long-term Houseman/Landscaper and a Saturday Housekeeper. The ideal candidate is pleasant, detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a semi-formal household environment.

Requirements

• Prior housekeeping experience in a private home preferred
• Strong English speaking and reading skills
• Comfortable using internet-based maps and navigation systems
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Detail-oriented and dependable
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively
• Comfortable maintaining confidentiality and respecting household privacy

Responsibilities

• Perform both light and deep housekeeping throughout the residence and guest house
• Maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living spaces, and common areas to a high standard
• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and detailed cleaning
• Organize household spaces and maintain overall household presentation
• Assist with seasonal cleaning projects as needed
• Laundry, folding, steaming, and ironing
• Proper care of household linens and clothing
• Maintain laundry areas in an organized and efficient manner
• Grocery shopping and household purchasing as needed
• Run household errands using personal vehicle
• Assist with general household organization and upkeep
• Support the smooth daily operation of the residence
