Requirements

High school diploma (minimum requirement)
Valid CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to maintain)
Vulnerable Sector Police Records Check
Dependable, punctual, and committed to client care
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
A genuine passion for helping others, with high standards of honesty and integrity

Nice To Haves

Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with insurance is always a bonus!

Responsibilities

Provide attentive, non-medical care according to each client’s Plan of Care
Offer companionship through conversation, reading, activities, and social engagement
Support emotional well-being and mental alertness
Perform light housekeeping (vacuuming, dusting, laundry, cleaning bathrooms, etc.)
Prepare meals
Observe and report changes in a client’s physical, emotional, or mental condition
Maintain clear, professional communication with clients, and team members
Complete required documentation accurately and on time
Participate in training, staff meetings, and ongoing education
Maintain strict confidentiality and use equipment safely
Perform other related duties as assigned
