About The Position
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role involves routine cleaning and sanitation, following established procedures and safety guidelines, and helping provide a welcoming environment for residents, staff, and guests. Housekeepers are expected to follow infection-control policies, communicate effectively, and perform routine, repetitive tasks. Residency within the service area is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
- Ability to work around cleaning products.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Residency within the service area.
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices as part of daily housekeeping tasks.
- Clean and sanitize areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
- Follow infection-control and universal-precautions policies.
- Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
