About The Position

Alto Hickory Creek is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to help maintain the cleanliness and comfort of our warm, welcoming senior living community. This role involves cleaning resident apartments, common areas, and community spaces to the highest standard, ensuring all areas are consistently fresh, clean, and welcoming. The primary responsibility is to clean vacant apartments in preparation for move-in, clean occupied apartments weekly or as scheduled, and follow the cleaning schedule for common areas. The Housekeeper will also maintain an adequate supply of cleaning supplies and keep laundry and housekeeping rooms clean and organized.

Requirements

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Should be familiar with safe operation of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, spray bottles, and with the safe use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
Associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

Minimum one (1) year housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain resident apartments, common areas, and community spaces to the highest standard.
Ensure all areas are consistently fresh, clean, and welcoming for residents, families, and visitors.
Follow infection control and sanitation protocols throughout every shift.
Restock supplies and report maintenance concerns as needed.
Be a warm, respectful presence to residents and families throughout your shift.
Clean vacant apartments in preparation for move-in using Company Checklist.
Report any problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Clean occupied apartments, respite and guest apartments as scheduled using Company Checklist.
Detail clean halls and other common areas as scheduled or when requested by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Keep inventory of cleaning supplies to ensure an adequate supply.
Report items needed to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Keep laundry rooms and housekeeping/linen rooms clean and organized.
Clean lint from dryer lint traps daily and clean area behind washer & dryer equipment weekly.
Other duties as assigned.
