Recovery Works NW is seeking a part-time housekeeper for their 16-bed, home-style medically managed withdrawal management facility. Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Basic understanding and knowledge of the recovery community
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy objects when necessary.
Familiarity with infection control practices and safety regulations in healthcare environments.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with patients, visitors, and fellow staff members.
Current CPR certification, or willingness to obtain via company-paid class within 6 weeks of hire.
Position is contingent on passing an OHA Background check and successful completion of a urine analysis (UA) after accepting job offer

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work, preferably in a healthcare setting, is advantageous.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and proper chemical handling is desirable.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize patient rooms, including beds, furniture, fixtures.
Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
Empty and clean waste containers, including hazardous waste, following proper disposal procedures.
Maintain cleanliness in public areas, such as dining room, hallways, living rooms, restrooms.
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels in designated areas.
Follow established protocols for infection control and adhere to safety guidelines at all times.
Operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners, safely and efficiently.
