About The Position

NHC HealthCare West Plains is seeking a Housekeeper to join their team. This position is responsible for the cleanliness of patient rooms, patient areas, and hallways. The ideal candidate must be able to deal tactfully and effectively with patients, families, fellow employees, and visitors. The role requires the ability to be on feet for 7-8 hours a day, lift heavy objects, and work with standard cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• cleaning patient bathrooms
• emptying garbage cans
• cleaning patient rooms, hallways, walls, furniture and equipment
• following established cleaning schedules
• other duties as assigned
• may cross train in Laundry department
