About The Position

Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Housekeeper and help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role supports HCSG’s commitment to positively impacting the communities it serves and enhancing customer and resident experiences. The starting pay rate is $15.00 per hour.

The Housekeeper performs daily cleaning and sanitation duties, follows established procedures and infection-control guidelines, maintains records, and reports maintenance or safety issues. The position involves routine, repetitive tasks and working around cleaning products. Candidates must be able to meet the physical demands of the role and reside within the service area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work around cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Clean and sanitize all areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
