About The Position
Bloomingdale’s Housekeeping Support Professionals perform maintenance, sanitization, and cleaning throughout the store to provide a clean shopping and work experience for customers and colleagues. Duties include wiping, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing sales floors, restrooms, fitting rooms, elevators and escalators, break rooms, common areas, and offices. The role requires speed, attention to detail, collaboration, and teamwork.
Requirements
- No education or experience required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
- Resourcefulness and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including day, evening, weekend, and/or holiday hours.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods; reach, crouch, kneel, stoop, and climb ladders; and frequently lift or move up to 30 pounds.
