About The Position

This position carries responsibility for the provision and maintenance of the cleanliness and appearance of the entire hospital.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance in all areas of the hospital.
• Use of appropriate chemicals, supplies, or equipment when needed.
• Assists in the orientation of new employees.
• Recognizes and reports potential problems to the supervisor or manager of the unit.
• Responsible for transporting trash and linen.
• Assumes responsibility for all information contained in all forms of written communication, including policies and memos.
