Requirements

Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent combination of training, education and experience.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to deal with others effectively.
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
Ability to organize work.
Ability to operate related equipment.

Responsibilities

Using a combination of sweeping, vacuuming, extracting, spot washing; damp mopping, dusting or polishing, the Housekeeping Aide will clean resident's rooms and bathrooms; including light fixtures, walls and floor surfaces.
Cleaning all common areas of Facility; e.g., lounges, public washrooms, etc.
Cleaning Offices, Conference Room, Multipurpose Room, Quiet room, etc.
Cleaning Parkade
Empties garbage cans in resident's rooms, washrooms and offices.
Vacuums draperies
Cleans carts and equipment.
Reports equipment/furnishings, etc. repairs and maintenance needs to supervisor.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
