About The Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment. This role supports daily operations by ensuring work areas, storage spaces, offices, restrooms, and customer-facing areas are clean, orderly, and compliant with safety standards. The Housekeeper plays a key role in workplace safety, efficiency, and presenting a professional appearance to customers.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic understanding of workplace safety practices
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and around electrical materials and equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or warehouse cleaning experience

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the lighting showroom, break rooms, restrooms, and common areas
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors, shelves, displays, fixtures, and work surfaces
  • Remove trash, recycling, cardboard, and debris from warehouse and showroom areas regularly
  • Keep aisles, exits, storage areas, and walkways clear to support safe movement of employees and equipment
  • Clean and maintain lighting displays and showroom floors to ensure a professional customer experience
  • Replenish restroom and breakroom supplies as needed
  • Assist with seasonal deep cleaning projects and special cleaning requests
  • Follow all safety guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Report safety hazards, building maintenance concerns, or inventory damage to management
