About The Position

Greenwood Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in Evanston, IL, has an Immediate Opening for Full Time Housekeeper, Day Time Hours - $18.00 per hour. Greenwood Care is dedicated to the treatment, recovery, and rehabilitation of individuals affected by chronic mental illness. Located in a residential housing setting in beautiful Evanston, Illinois, we treat a variety of psychiatric conditions in a home-like setting. Greenwood Care is accredited by the Joint Commission and licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDHP).

Requirements

• Housekeeping experience
• Must keep all information confidential per HIPPA requirements
• Must have compassion and understanding of adults with psychiatric illnesses

Nice To Haves

• Housekeeping experience in a long term facility helpful
• High School diploma a plus

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, wash and disinfect all fixtures, floors, doors, ceilings and walls as directed
• Scour and polish water fountains, sinks, mirrors, and glass panels in doors and partitions
• Clean ledges, shelves, vents, windows, window sills, etc.
• Replenish supply of soap and towels as needed
