About The Position
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff throughout clinic facilities. This position supports infection prevention efforts and ensures all assigned areas meet health, safety, and regulatory standards while promoting a positive patient experience.

Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience
- Experience in a healthcare or medical setting
- Training in infection control or healthcare cleaning practices
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize exam rooms, patient rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, offices, and common areas according to established clinic protocols
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces including doorknobs, light switches, exam tables, chairs, counters, and other frequently used areas
- Follow infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and organizational guidelines at all times
- Properly handle, store, and dispose of waste materials, including biohazard waste when applicable
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, hand sanitizer, and restroom necessities
- Safely mix, use, and store cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer and organizational instructions
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors, furniture, and surfaces
- Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or equipment issues to the supervisor
- Maintain cleaning schedules, logs, and documentation as required
- Provide courteous and professional interactions with patients, visitors, and staff
- Support a safe, clean, and welcoming environment throughout the facility
- Perform other duties as assigned
