As a Housekeeper in our Skilled Nursing building, you will help create a clean, safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and team members. Your work plays an important role in infection prevention and ensuring a high standard of cleanliness throughout the community.

Requirements

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable and detail oriented

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Cleaning experience preferred

Responsibilities

Cleaning resident rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and disinfecting surfaces
Cleaning and sanitizing resident bathrooms according to infection control standards
Cleaning and disinfecting common areas, hallways, nursing stations, offices, dining areas, and public restrooms
Changing bed linens and making beds as assigned
Emptying trash and biohazard waste containers according to established procedures
Restocking housekeeping supplies and notifying the supervisor when inventory is low
Following established infection prevention, safety, and OSHA guidelines, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE)
Responding promptly to spills and other cleaning needs to maintain a safe environment
Maintaining resident privacy and confidentiality while providing services in resident rooms
Performing other housekeeping duties as assigned
