About The Position

Blue Water is a fast-growing hospitality company that has been creating unforgettable guest experiences since 2002 through RV resorts, campgrounds, hotels, and attractions. They are looking for individuals who love making memories to join their team and 'ride the wave' with them. The housekeeper's role is crucial in ensuring all vacation rentals, common areas, and bathrooms are clean, inspected, and ready for guests according to resort standards. This involves a range of cleaning duties, laundry support, guest interaction, and collaboration with other departments to maintain the property's high standards.

Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, use hands, fingers, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Ability to climb or balance.
Ability to talk and listen.
Ability to provide excellent guest service.
Must frequently lift and/or move 25-50 pounds.
Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Demonstrates regular and reliable attendance.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of commercial housekeeping experience, preferably in a hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
Ensuring all rooms are cared for and inspected according to resort standards.
Ensuring all vacation rentals, common areas, and bathrooms are clean, “guest-ready,” and inspected in accordance with property standards.
Cleaning guest rooms, cabins, and cottage rentals, as well as communal areas and bathhouses.
Performing tasks such as dusting, polishing, linen changes, bathroom cleaning and sanitation, kitchen fixtures and appliance cleaning, trash removal, vacuuming, or floor cleaning.
Stripping and making beds.
Ensuring rooms and rentals exceed standards and are in working order before guest arrival.
Providing laundry support, including washing, drying, folding, and sorting laundry.
Responding to guest queries or requests through excellent customer service.
Collaborating with guest service, housekeeping, groundskeeping, and other departments to exceed guest expectations and achieve company and departmental goals.
Ensuring the property is clean, orderly, well-manicured, and always guest-ready.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Adhering strictly to rules regarding health and safety and being aware of company-related practices.
