About The Position

Brook Hollow Golf Club of Dallas, Texas was founded in 1920 as a private, Member-owned golf club. After more than 100 years, the Club continues to prosper and flourish through its endeavors, employees, culture and core values. Members and guests can immerse themselves into an exclusive Golf course, a superior sports complex for Tennis, Wellness and Swimming, then dine in one of our first-class, Clubhouse facilities—where our Chef’s and staff create memorable experiences. Brook Hollow is seeking to add an experienced Full-time Housekeeper to its hospitality team as part of our 2nd shift beginning at 1:30PM—10:00PM. We are looking for persons who can focus on attention to detail while being friendly, courteous and respectful. This individual will perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain a clean, efficient, sanitary and comfortable setting for our members, guests and personnel of the Club. The goal is to create a clean and orderly atmosphere in a fast-paced environment. This person will have a visible presence around the Club. Pay rate will be based on experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a custodian or housekeeper.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
• Must be able to clearly understand and communicate verbally in English and in writing with team.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule and/or over time if needed.
• Must be able to arrive on time for work schedule.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Must work well with others and support team members.
• Must work quickly without compromising quality.
• Required to bend, stoop, walk and stand up to 8 hours a day.
• Must be able to lift or push up to 40 lbs.
• Can work Independent and move about departments.
• Must have good or corrected vision to select/stock merchandise and read labels in English.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
• Cleans bathrooms, check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
• Vacuums carpets and buffs floors.
• Empties all wastebaskets and collect trash around clubhouse.
• Wipe down electronic equipment and disinfects telephones.
• Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and reports any maintenance issues to engineering.
• Washes inside and outside of windows.
• Inspects and changes burned out light bulbs.
• Cleans employee’s locker room and employee’s lunchroom.
• Sweeps patio area and dusts patio furniture.
• Cleans and mops snack bar and pool patio floors when open.
• Performs additional duties as directed by a manager or supervisor.
