About The Position

AvantStay is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Housekeeper to manage and carry out cleaning processes and procedures. The Housekeeper cleans and services units in a timely manner according to AvantStay guidelines and standards, service sequence, and inspection checklists, with the goal of exceeding guest expectations. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing exceptional experiences and customer service to guests.

Requirements

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting.
• Attention to detail and ability to complete cleans in a timely manner.
• Availability to work a flexible, full-time schedule as necessary, including weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness throughout rooms, including vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping according to AvantStay standards and guidelines.
• Remove trash, recycling, and compost from room receptacles; clean and sanitize trash and recycling bins and replace their liners.
• Replace linens in rooms, including bedding, sheets, and towels. Clean linens are provided because laundry service is handled offsite.
• Report room issues, including damage and security concerns.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and follow company policies and licensing laws.
• Check and report stocking levels of consumables and cleaning supplies.
• Create and complete daily job lists and complete paperwork and inspection forms.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
