About The Position
McMenamins Old St. Francis School is hiring for a Housekeeper. McMenamins is a family-owned company in Oregon and Washington serving handcrafted beer, wine, cider, spirits, and coffee alongside pub fare. Locations range from neighborhood pubs to historic hotels, emphasizing community, art, history, music, food, drink, and fun. The primary responsibility of the housekeeping staff is to clean and maintain hotel rooms in a timely manner, ensuring they are clean and pleasant. This job plays a large role in giving guests a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Housekeepers will be responsible for finished rooms, cleaning projects, and knowledge of company policies and procedures related to housekeeping. This position requires mental agility, the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- 16+ years old
- Enjoy working in a busy customer service-oriented environment

Responsibilities
- Daily preparation of rooms
- Changing linens on the bed
- Upkeep of linen closets
- Cleaning of toilets, sinks, showers
- Cleaning floors
- May be asked to help the maintenance (janitorial) staff when needed
- Provide support to the front desk as needed
- Assist guests in any manner possible (getting ironing boards, cribs, etc.)
- Answer questions of all sorts
- Provide excellent customer service to hotel guests and customers
