Children’s Home Society of South Dakota is seeking a Housekeeper to assist in the cleaning and maintenance of designated areas of the facility. Requirements

High School Diploma/GED required.
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Requires standing for extended periods of time.
Some exposure to cleaning chemicals, requiring attentive and safe utilization.
Must successfully complete all required background and pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

Clean assigned areas according to daily and weekly schedules.
Launder linens and children’s clothes as assigned.
Maintain storage areas and cleaning supplies inventory.
Report needed repairs or safety hazards immediately to supervisor.
Attend assigned meetings.
Participate in required in-service training.
Participate in quality improvement activities as assigned.
Handle and process material donations as assigned.
