About The Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment within assigned facilities. This position performs routine and detailed cleaning tasks to ensure safe, welcoming spaces for occupants, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while contributing to a team-focused environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
Ability to operate standard custodial cleaning equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
Reliable attendance, punctuality, and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

Previous custodial or janitorial experience, preferably in a medical or professional setting

Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning and sanitation tasks in assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and floor care
Conduct high dusting and detailed cleaning of surfaces, fixtures, and common areas
Empty trash receptacles and properly dispose of waste materials
Follow established cleaning schedules, procedures, and safety protocols
Safely use cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment according to training and guidelines
Maintain organized and properly stocked cleaning supply and equipment storage areas
Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding cleaning needs or concerns
Support a safe and professional work environment at all times
Perform other related duties as assigned
