About The Position
Ovation Communities is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to maintain sanitation of the facility for the health, comfort, and safety of residents, staff, and visitors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Sufficient education to demonstrate spoke and written English.
- Demonstrates strong communication and relationship building skills with residents, and is able to explain residents' needs to others as needed for resident advocacy.
Responsibilities
- Performs routine cleaning as scheduled in resident, staff and ancillary areas.
- Mops entire area insuring obstacles have been moved to clean complete surface.
- Dusts all horizontal and vertical surfaces from the ceiling to the floor are dusted and/or polished.
- Vacuums carpet, drapes, upholstery and vents inuring all necessary obstacles have been moved to clean and complete surface.
- Collects and disposes of trash from containers ranging from 7 quarts to 30 gallons.
- Cleans and disinfects all areas in the restroom, including but not limited to sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, fixtures, and bathtubs.
