About The Position

The Housekeeper maintains clean, welcoming guest rooms and public areas at Residence Inn Rockford. The role includes cleaning guest rooms and equipment, refreshing beds and replenishing supplies, performing deep-cleaning tasks, and keeping the housekeeping cart stocked. Housekeepers also assist guests by responding to requests and delivering items, provide friendly customer service, and follow safe work practices to help protect guests, property, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and housekeeping equipment.
• Clean lobbies, hallways, restrooms, carpets, and furniture.
• Keep the housekeeping cart stocked and ready for use.
• Make beds with fresh linens and replenish guest-room supplies.
• Perform deep-cleaning tasks, including changing AC filters and painting.
• Respond to guest needs and deliver requested items with a friendly attitude.
• Provide helpful customer service to guests.
• Monitor sensitive areas and help protect guests and hotel property.
• Follow safe work practices.
