About The Position

A wonderful family in Okatie is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and professional housekeeper to become a trusted part of their household. This position offers a flexible 16–25 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours when the family has guests in town. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with detailed home cleaning and organization, including dusting, sweeping porches, caring for outdoor furniture, cleaning limestone and hardwood floors, maintaining specialty sinks and surfaces, doing dishes and laundry, organizing closets, drawers, and the pantry, changing and arranging fresh flowers, and keeping the home consistently neat and polished. They may also assist with errands, grocery shopping, airport pickups using their own vehicle, and dog sitting/walking while the family travels. For candidates interested in closer to 25 hours per week, the role can expand to include meal preparation, cooking, grocery runs, and additional household support throughout the week. The family frequently hosts guests around Thanksgiving and from after Christmas through New Year’s, so weekend and holiday flexibility—particularly being available to work on Thanksgiving—is important. During gatherings, the housekeeper may help set the table, assist with serving food, and ensure everything runs smoothly. The family is looking for someone who is reliable, polished, and professional in appearance while also developing a friendly but professional relationship with the household. Their previous housekeeper was with them long term and was highly valued for keeping everything organized, so they are hoping to find someone who brings that same level of care and attention with consistent reliability. 1 dog

Requirements
