About The Position

A kind and respectful family in Atherton is seeking an additional experienced housekeeper to join their well-established household team. This role offers a unique midweek-through-weekend schedule, supporting the home during peak family and entertaining hours. An ego-free, team-player attitude is essential. You’ll work alongside an existing, cohesive housekeeping team and collaborate with other household staff in a calm, professional manner—working in tandem and without ego in this well-run home. While this is not a formal service setting, attention to detail and familiarity with high-end homes are key. Strong common sense and sound judgment are essential in this role—this means knowing how to move through a lived-in family environment with awareness, discretion, and the ability to read the room. The ideal candidate is proactive, steady, and quietly confident—someone who takes pride in creating order and maintaining a welcoming space. This position is best suited for a local candidate who thrives in a team setting, is detail-oriented, and brings a warm, grounded presence to the home.

Requirements

Fluency in English is required
Must live within a commutable distance
Authorized to work in the U.S.
COVID vaccinated and boosted
Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

Daily and rotational deep cleaning of interior spaces
Care of high-end finishes and delicate surfaces
Laundry: washing, steaming, pressing, and folding
Linen and towel changes; bed making
Maintaining closets, cabinets, and pantries
Light tidying during family use of common areas
Reporting minor maintenance or household needs
Wednesday–Friday: Assist with kitchen cleanup and light support during meal periods
Occasional assistance with meals, events, or guests
