The Housekeeper plays a critical role in delivering a clean, welcoming, and elevated environment for members and guests. This position is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout all clubhouse facilities, ensuring every space reflects the pride and quality of the Club. At a private club, details define the experience. The Housekeeper ensures every member interaction begins in a clean, polished, and inviting environment—quietly setting the tone for exceptional service. Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable
  • Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs and be on feet for extended periods
  • Flexible schedule required including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Seasonal workload adjustments based on club activity levels

Nice To Haves

  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred (hospitality or private club a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain all interior areas including: Locker rooms (men’s & women’s), Restrooms and showers, Dining rooms and event spaces, Lobby, hallways, offices, and common areas
  • Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize all surfaces daily
  • Ensure all fixtures, mirrors, windows, and floors are spotless and presentable
  • Maintain trash and recycling removal throughout the facility
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock levels in locker rooms
  • Replenish towels, toiletries, and amenities throughout the day
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness of showers, saunas (if applicable), and vanities
  • Monitor housekeeping supply levels and communicate needs to management
  • Properly store cleaning chemicals and equipment per safety guidelines
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained and used correctly
  • Uphold the Club’s cleanliness standards at all times
  • Maintain a professional appearance and uniform
  • Be visible, approachable, and responsive to member needs
  • Greet members with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Anticipate needs and proactively maintain high-traffic areas
  • Respond quickly and discreetly to member requests or concerns
  • Take pride in creating a comfortable, welcoming environment
