About The Position
St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper to join their team. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all individuals using the facility, which specializes in comprehensive intergenerational care for all ages and abilities. St. Ann Center is a unique facility where compassion, care, and dignity are paramount, bringing together individuals from 6 weeks old to 100+ years old. Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Sweep and mop floors and vacuum
- Willingness to work with others
- Maintain housekeeping equipment
- Report any safety issues

Responsibilities
- Collect all trash from classrooms, offices, respite rooms, adult day service areas, and common spaces; empty into outside dumpsters daily. Maintain dumpster area cleanliness and report any overflow or sanitation concerns.
- Sweep and mop all rooms, hallways, and common areas daily; ensure floors remain safe, dry, and free of debris.
- Clean toilets, sinks, counters, and floors daily; restock paper products and soap dispensers; ensure restrooms meet infection control standards.
- Wipe down woodwork, doors, handles, and high touch surfaces as needed; clean spills on walls promptly.
- Clean interior glass, mirrors, and entryway windows as needed to maintain visibility and appearance.
- Stock housekeeping cart daily with required supplies; notify Maintenance of any inventory needs.
- Operate floor scrubber and other cleaning equipment as needed; maintain equipment cleanliness and report malfunctions.
- Respond promptly to cleanup calls, including spills, bodily fluids, and urgent sanitation needs in childcare, adult day services, respite, and clinic areas.
- Vacuum offices, rugs, and designated carpet areas daily.
- Perform scheduled deep cleaning of classrooms, adult day service rooms, respite areas, and common spaces.
- Assist with setup and break-down for Indaba Bandshell events, including chairs, tables, waste stations, and post-event cleanup.
- Maintain sanitation in childcare classrooms, nap areas, changing stations, feeding areas, and adult day service rooms; support infection control procedures and ensure environments remain safe for all ages.
- Restock tissues, gloves, wipes, and other sanitation supplies in childcare and adult day service areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of entryways, sidewalks, playground walkways, and outdoor seating areas.
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or equipment issues promptly; follow all infection control, OSHA, and organizational safety protocols.
- Other duties as assigned.
