About The Position
Lawrence Street Health Care Center is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team. In a skilled nursing environment, housekeeping plays a vital role in resident comfort, safety, infection prevention, and overall quality of life. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for residents, families, visitors, and staff. Requirements
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping or Environmental Services (EVS) experience preferred
- Healthcare, skilled nursing, hotel, or facility housekeeping experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and sanitize assigned areas
- Remove trash and replace liners regularly
- Follow infection control and safety procedures
- Maintain housekeeping carts and supplies
- Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Help create a comfortable, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors
