This per diem Housekeeping opportunity offers a convenient schedule and involves cleaning all areas of the hospital according to established policies and procedures, as well as participating in performance improvement activities. Requirements

One to three (1-3) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

Previous hospital experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the environmental services department.
Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
Completes work assignments in a timely manner.
Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
Follows all infection control practices including hand hygiene techniques, standard precautions and isolation precautions.
