About The Position

The housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and infection control in the facility, as well as occasionally assisting other departments, and within the facilities team, as needed. This role supports and ensures strictest adherence to best practices, FDA Code of Federal Regulations, ICH (International Conference on Harmonization), GCP (Good Clinical Practices), CenExel standard operating procedures, site working Practices, protocol, and company guidelines and policies. The position also assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Prior cleaning experience in a healthcare facility.
Skill in organization.
Ability to complete tasks with precision and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as functioning as part of a team.
Ability to communicate clearly both written and verbally.
General knowledge of cleaning; products, supplies and techniques.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

Floor maintenance (sweeping, scrubbing, vacuuming, mopping, and may include buffing, stripping & waxing, removal of scuff marks etc.).
Trash collection/cardboard removal and breakdown.
Cleans beds, furniture, equipment, and surfaces to prevent the spread of infection.
Disinfects high-touch areas including doorknobs, handrails, light switches, and bathrooms.
Stocks supplies: Refills soap, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and other essential items.
Reports maintenance issues to the maintenance team about broken fixtures or unsafe conditions.
Other general cleaning, e.g. dusting, cleaning bathrooms, windows, doors, common areas, etc.
Supports and ensures strictest adherence to best practices, FDA Code of Federal Regulations, ICH (International Conference on Harmonization), GCP (Good Clinical Practices), CenExel standard operating procedures, site working Practices, protocol, and company guidelines and policies.
Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
