Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree.
- Six months housekeeping or related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Must be able to express or exchange ideas by means of spoken and written word.
- Regularly required to stand; walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear, and taste or smell.
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to adjust focus.
Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning of patient room, staff offices, halls, and general patient staff areas.
