Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree.
  • Six months housekeeping or related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must be able to express or exchange ideas by means of spoken and written word.
  • Regularly required to stand; walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear, and taste or smell.
  • Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Daily cleaning of patient room, staff offices, halls, and general patient staff areas.
