About The Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards of the facility. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and good communication skills. The housekeeper will perform a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure a neat and sanitary environment for residents and staff.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, janitorial procedures
• Knowledge of safe work practices and infection control
• Ability to perform manual labor tasks

Responsibilities

• Maintain standards with respect to cleanliness and sanitation of the facility
• Follows instruction willingly
• Able to meet deadlines
• Punctuality
• Good communication skills
• Keep neat overall appearances of surroundings
• Empty and wash wastebaskets
• Window washing
• Dusting and mopping
• Bathroom sanitation
• Vacuuming
• Clean dining room – tables and bases
• Clean all furniture in common areas
• Must be able to safely perform all essential duties of the job
