About The Position

The Housekeeper maintains a safe and clean community for residents, associates, and visitors. The role includes laundering towels, bed linens, and resident laundry, as well as upkeep of resident apartments. The position is part time, scheduled from 9 AM to 2 PM on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, with pay of $16.50–$17.75 per hour.

Requirements

• Understand practices for properly handling biohazardous waste.

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience cleaning residential or commercial settings is preferred; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean assigned resident apartments as scheduled by the supervisor.
• Clean apartment bathrooms, including toilet bowls, sinks, and bathtubs; wipe countertops and mirrors; and sterilize floors.
• Clean kitchens by wiping counters and areas under objects and mopping floors.
• Vacuum all exposed areas completely, including edges.
• Empty and rinse wastebaskets as necessary.
• Wash the inside of windows as needed.
• Clean common areas according to standards and practices, including elevators, halls, landings, stairs, resident activity areas, lobbies, and model units.
• Clean other flat surfaces as scheduled or requested by the supervisor.
• Keep the laundry room clean and orderly.
• Store chemicals in accordance with product instructions or supervisor direction.
• Launder towels, bed linens, and resident laundry.
• Maintain the upkeep of resident apartments.
