About The Position

Housekeepers are responsible for regularly cleaning community facilities and buildings to ensure the community remains presentable and sanitary at all times.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet
• Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs
• Knowledge of safety measures when using various cleaning chemicals
• Demonstrated knowledge of janitorial work
• Must have a valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

• 6 months in previous experience cleaning homes, apartments, or other large facilities

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes and stocks kitchen areas with paper products.
• Cleans and sanitizes appliances to ensure they are free of food particles, mold, and mildew.
• Defrosts freezer as needed.
• Cleans, sanitizes and stocks bathrooms, including ensuring they are well lit and rubber mats are in place to ensure safety.
• Follows all established safety procedures and precautions.
• Immediately reports any unsafe/hazardous conditions, incidents/accidents, and/or defective equipment to Community Manager or immediate supervisor.
• Ensures the general property appearance is well maintained and orderly.
• Sweeps, mops, waxes, and buffs floors as needed.
• Cleans windows and screens, ensuring they are in functioning order.
• Maintains washers and dryers by wiping surfaces, removing lint, and handling routine maintenance.
• Ensures all offices are clean and neat.
• Empties trash containers as needed.
• Ensures that all vents and filters are cleaned and changed as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
