About The Position

Drury Hotels is seeking to hire full-time and part-time housekeepers immediately. In this role, you will play a major part in creating memorable moments for business travelers and families on vacation. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and positive environment for guests and team members, ensuring exceptional and positive experiences. This role involves performing various hotel cleaning services to keep rooms clean according to established standards, visually inspecting rooms to help identify needed maintenance items, and assisting guests by providing linens, towels, amenities, or information when requested. You may also be asked to assist in laundry or cleaning public spaces as needed. Requirements

  • No previous cleaning experience required.
  • Requires knowledge, skill and mental ability equivalent to completion of 2 years of high school.
  • Requires the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Requires thorough knowledge of cleaning procedures and cleaning supplies.
  • Requires ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Provides excellent customer service.
  • Requires the ability to walk and stand for the entire work shift.
  • Requires ability to push, vacuum, reach, stretch, and bend in daily work activities.
  • Requires the ability to lift 25 – 35 pounds intermittently throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not necessary.
