About The Position

The Housekeeper shall be responsible for cleaning areas within both the Baptist Health hospital departments and non-hospital departments. This individual shall complete all tasks assigned efficiently, effectively, and on a daily basis. This position may have additional duties assigned as needed that are within scope of the role.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent, or Alabama Essentials Pathway diploma required.
  • Minimum 1 year work experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to read and write.
  • Visual acuity at close and distant ranges.
  • Manual dexterity in performance of duties.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of peers, customers and management.
  • Ability to work safely around chemicals and dust.
  • Flexibility with begin and end shift times.

  • Minimum 1 year work experience
