About The Position

This position involves performing a variety of housekeeping duties. Depending on the specific assignment, the role may include communicating with patients/clients based on specific training. The housekeeper will also attend departmental meetings and training sessions and may be responsible for setting up and breaking down chairs for meetings.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to follow simple verbal and written instructions.
Significant walking to complete errands throughout the building and grounds.
Performing activities such as reaching, standing, pushing, pulling, repetitive motion, and lifting objects up to 20 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Previous work experience in a housekeeping role.
Experience stripping, buffing, shampooing floors and extracting carpet.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of housekeeping duties.
Observe and report broken or damaged furnishings and equipment.
Maintain equipment and supplies.
Communicate with patients/clients based on specific training regarding the patient/client population (depending on assignment).
Attend departmental meetings and training sessions.
